A message from Charles Chamberlain: (Cross posted on Daily Kos.) The collective craziness coming from the Republican Presidential Candidates shouldnt be surprising at this point, but practically every day Im stunned by something they say or do. Most of the time it makes me want to throw something at the TV -- or out the window, but sometimes I just have to laugh. I mean in a way it's funny that this is the best the Republicans can do, but at the same time it's infuriating that anyone -- much less nearly half the population -- would accept them as legitimate candidates. There's Rick Perry whose stupidity might actually top Bushs. And Michele Bachmann who has proven her ineptitude over and over again -- through her extremism, factual inaccuracies and hypocrisy, just to name a few. And Romney, who might have been a good candidate 15 years ago (alright, probably not) -- but regardless, he has backtracked on everything good he ever said. All of these candidates would take our country in a horrifying direction. But whose would be the worst? Let us know in DFAs Presidential Pulse Poll. Together we can make sure the worst of the worst never makes it to the White House. DFA will run an ad against the winner of the poll -- the candidate with the most anti-votes -- in an early primary state. And we will be there throughout the primary season to make sure that every gaffe, every extremism and every thing wrong with these candidates is abundantly clear. This morning I read that Herman Cain is first in the latest poll. Where did that come from? Who actually thinks his 9-9-9 plan is a good idea? Is there anything more regressive? He may not care that a 9% flat tax would decimate the working poor, but even heartless businessmen have to recognize that a 9% national sales tax would stifle the economy -- that would mean LA would have a 21% sales tax -- how would that not hurt small business?!? I'm not really sure which of these candidates would be the worst. I mean, Perry seems really really dangerous. But then again, maybe Mitt is more likely to win. But frankly, it's doesn't matter what I think. I want to know what you think. Please vote and share the It Gets Worse poll and leave your feedback here.
