Being the Helper Boston Needs

Our Chair, Jim Dean, has a very important message to share:

There are no words for what happened yesterday in Boston. A day normally given over to the joy of human achievement was turned into a nightmare for runners, spectators, and us all.

Our hearts go out to the victims, families, and DFA members in Boston and throughout Massachusetts during this difficult time. I know I speak for the entire DFA community when I say we are with you and here for you, whatever you need.

And we are thinking, not just of yesterday's tragic events, but of the hundreds of heroes, from first responders to the runners and volunteers, who showed what a community does in the face of tragedy. That is what makes this country so great.

I have no doubt that those responsible for this horrendous act will be brought to justice. Until then, the DFA community will continue to help the victims of yesterday's bombing.

If you can, please help out by contributing to the Boston Marathon Bombing Victims fund.

100% of donations will go to caring for the victims and their families.

Thank you for all you do,

- Jim
