Swingin' to Restore Representative DEMOCRACY to the United States Government

The Swing States Road Show kicks off mini-tour in support of their new CD, HOUSECLEANING

The Swing States Road Show now features multiple WAMMIE-winning instrumentalists Seth Kibel (clarinet -- Alexandria Kleztet) and Dave Giegerich (dobro -- Hula Monsters), as well as Aaron Blouin (bass), Road Show director/songwriter/string-changer Lea Jones (guitar/vocals), and singer-songwriter and bandleader in her own right, Karyn Oliver (vocals).

We raised thousands of dollars and performed in seven states during the 2004 election cycle. Now we're back supporting progressive causes and candidates across the mid-Atlantic, aiming to help save DEMOCRACY from the ravages of corruption and/or the GOP, all the while swingin' hard and having fun. Join us in celebrating the release of our new CD!

Proceeds from sales of the new CD through eFolkMusic.org will go directly to COMMON CAUSE -- we like their Election Reform campaign lots. AND it's non-partisan.

The full band will play the first two sets. After that, who knows? Lea will likely pull out some old (award-winning) singer songwriter 'self help folk music' pearls from his distant past ...
