Judy will be forever number 1 for the great, wise, witty woman she was.

Already being sorely missed, she will forever be in my heart, mind and soul. So lucky am I to have so many great reminders of her around me.

Linda,

Great Firsties, couldn't have said it better.  And I think that the Governor would be honored to give up the 'number 1' spot for jc.

Thank you jc for this design, just one of hundreds, if not thousands, that jc did to help take our country back.

The former governor of Vermont, Howard Dean, has withdrawn from the US presidential race.

Mr Dean became the early Democratic front-runner with his strong criticism of the war in Iraq, but he finished a distant third in last night's primary in Wisconsin.

He built up what seemed formidable grass-roots support, using the internet to attract support and raising millions for his campaign.

What did his campaign style bring to the presidential race? Was he the man to beat Bush? Send us your comments.

Howard Dean brought integrity, ideas, and hope to the process.

OMG! Been off the blog all weekend and come back to see this terrible news. Will go read the news. I am shocked and very saddened.....jc is/was a wonderful presence in our world.

Judy is definityl first in my heart today.  It was a difficult weekend for me.  I printed out puddle's wonderful poem to put on my bloggers wall of memories.

I have been asked to drive the "jc-mobile" in the Gay Pride Parade with the King County Democrats.  I am honored and will be driving the truck, replete with jc's stickers (and one even advertising her website so that parade attendees may also purchase them).  I will also tape my sign with my blog family to the door so that we may all be represented in jc honor.

Dang, can't stop crying.

To the Cadoret family: We loved your daughter and sister and miss her. Our prayers to your family.

Is right-mindedness a word? (One of the fun things we did on the blog was make up words) jc had it. What my dad used to call "having your head screwed on straight" and then the courage to stand by your convictions. tough too. things that get called "leadership" or "character". Combine that with a big heart, love of country, love of community, love of family; and then the humor and wit. What a void to fill.

We all know her through her designs that she shared so freely. Artistic genius, but there was more. jc worked tirelessly in the days following the hurricanes in Louisiana and that computer work showed me what a larger talent she had than design. Amazing. We were blessed to get to know her through the blog these several years because her life was much more than we shared, she was working to make America what it deserves to be before Howard Dean decided to run for President where we are lucky to have known her. I challenge all of us to make as good a use of this space as she did, and our off blog time as well. Those who are regulars know jc and I were close blog friends and allied in our blog fun keeping this space going in a direction that honored the original values of Howard Dean's Presidential run to take our country back. I miss her. I think the idea of a scholarship is a good one, and you who are going to Deanfest need to kick the idea around. I won't be there in person but always in spirit and will help as able.

To jc,

You challenged, amused and enlightened us all on the blog. You made me laugh and think and, on occasion, perturbed! Your presence will be missed but your spirit lives on through all of us. I hope we can keep your life-work in place somehow.....and that through others your incredible talents and insights will carry on.

Since this blog is where we knew you, I hope we continue this "memorial"  for the rest of the day. Please continue to post your thoughts and memories here.

A helluva way to sell t-shirts, huh?

Judy did leave instructions herein; and she is certainly deserving of ongoing "firsties," & front page status, IMMHO.

Sharing Is Good Feel free to feature my graphics on your own blog. Links and/or credit are appreciated.

Jessica--can you guys pls. profile a link (w/that Rosie pic) over @the D-Fest site (i.e., D-Fest "gear")?

Thanks.

Indy:  jc's link

http://jcdesigns.blogspot.com/

She has a number of other blogs, but the links to them ore on that page.

There is the poem, mentioned above, and some family pictures that she posted the links to once, and which pictures I saved.  My regret that I didn't save her picture from her blog for the short time she had it up.  I meant to.

She certainly was one of the most amazing human beings I've ever known.  And I know some pretty amazing ones. . . .

I'll always be especially grateful to her that when Robert decided to make me his own special "project" that she never stood by and just let it happen.  She was always right there, by my side.

BTW ~~ on Kos, Dean Nut (in Sandy Eigo) offered to pay to keep jc's sites going (the ones that need to be paid for).  I put her in contact with the family.  Bless her heart!

very sorry about jc. I got my bumper stickers "I make up my own mind" through her. I hope her web sites with her creations can be maintained. Remember she could really get her point across & especially when she  responded to Oler.  I tell my kids, when they ask why does such & such happen, that life is just not fair.. jc should have been here for a long long time.

Yes, quite amazing. And generous. With her time and skills. She would always be there when someone wanted an idea turned into a graphic. Didn't expect credit that she so deserved.

I was feeling bad today for the few run-ins we had. But then I realized that was all part of her amazing-ness. Took no guff and said what she felt. I respected and admired her a great deal. I only wish I had said that when she was around.....

Well my ship's been split to splinters and it's sinking fast
I'm drownin' in the poison, got no future, got no past
But my heart is not weary, it's light and it's free
I've got nothin' but affection for all those who've sailed with me

Everybody movin' if they ain't already there
Everybody got to move somewhere
Stick with me baby, stick with me anyhow
Things should start to get interesting right about now
