Sneak Attack for the Democrats - Help Turn Ohio's 5th Congressional District from Red to Blue!

Hello Central Ohio Democrats, Progressives, & Supporters:

We have a special opportunity this week to help out with a Special Election in Ohio's 5th Congressional District and turn one more district in Ohio from Red to Blue! The secret is out that Democrats are targeting this district as a Special Election pick-up - we are going to sneak in and turn out our vote to win!

Veteran Democratic candidate Robin Weirauch (www.robinforcongress.com) is running for the Congressional seat in OH-5 as a strong candidate with a great message in a district that both Gov. Ted Strickland and Sen. Sherrod Brown won in 2006. This district has been turning Blue for sure, and we have one more chance this year to put one more Blue district on the map before the Elections in 2008 . What an opportunity to show Washington and the country what they can expect to see in the upcoming Presidential Election - A Democratic Victory!

Democrats are Uniting from throughout Ohio to help out - Now it's your turn! The Ohio Democratic Party is doing a "Walk & Talk" for our great Democratic Elected Officials and Robin Weirauch this weekend and then helping with GOTV on Election Day - Tuesday, December 11, 2007.

In order to send support from Central Ohio, we have vans leaving from Columbus on Saturday, December 8 at 11 AM and Tuesday, December 11 at 12 Noon. We are going up north to help out and make sure our voters know that there is a special election and that the Ohio Democratic Party needs their support!

Meet-up: South Campus Gateway at the intersection of 10th St. and High St. (meet outside of the Mad Mex Restaurant, across the street from the 7-11)

Columbus GOTV for ODP and Robin Weirauch
