New Yorkers Deserve a DEM Primary

I have contacted the New York State democratic committee and requested (1) an invitation to the June convention, and (2) a block of 25% of the votes needed to trigger a Primary (and not the nominating petition route which is time-consuming, expensive and one that always gets challenged on the minutest details).

To date, I have not received a response and in fact not even a response to acknowledge my correspondence and requests.

I ask everyone, whether in NY or not, who is concerned about a strong party and strong democracy to contact the NYS Dems and ask them to honor request for a primary. Mrs. Gillibrand never ran for this seat state-wide, but she needs to. I will give her a lively race and it will benefit all New Yorkers and the country to see a lively debate on tough issues; which BTW Mrs. Gillibrand is not discussing (e.g., the two wars, detainees and torture just to name two).
