Why Am I Running?

We need better role models and fearless leadership from our elected officials.

If I don't step up and set a new example, we will keep seeing more of the same old way.

Smart investments in education and healthcare. Legislative reform, campaign reform, election reform.

Hold Me Accountable!

Fiscal wisdom. Smart investments that will save us money.

Investing in children. Keeping healthy children safe and healthy and educating them for success and self-reliance.

Protecting and preserving democracy. Informed consent requires information and permission... which requires transparency, education and open elections.

My DFA values:

I always ask 3 things before spending money: Why is it needed? Why does it cost so much? What is the benefit?

Taking money from curative programs and moving them to preventative programs will save money and provide great community value.

And socially, I believe success and rewards should go to those who work harder/smarter/better. Or, put another way, ALL Americans deserve the opportunity to compete. They deserve access to excellent education and health.

Wealth is not a tax-exempt birthright. In America, we expect people to earn their way.
