Victoria Wulsin for Congress

Background:

As a public health doctor, I have dedicated my career to stregthening our communities' health, battling deadly outbreaks in Cincinnati and protecting workers across the nation from toxic chemicals at their jobs. My policy decisions have always been based on sound science and honest disclosure of all the facts.

Goals:

Because the people of my district have had enough of this do-nothing Congress and they're looking for leader they can trust. They've had enough of the corruption, the deceitfulness, and the disrespect; enough of the fiscal recklessness, the incompetent governance, and the weak foreign policy. I'm running for Congress because I know I can deliver real results that will make Ohio proud again.

Issues:

* Increasing the quality and efficiency of health care in America.
* Ending the occupation of Iraq and focusing on real threats to our national security.
* Ending our dependence on foreign oil by investing in innovative sustainable technologies.

Grassroots Support:

Not only will the community of volunteers and activists in south western Ohio be crucial to my race, but I will depend on the netroots for buzz and financial support.

My opponent, Jean Schmidt, has embarressed our community and our country with her invective, her dishonesty, and her contempt for the interests of Ohioans. It's time for a leader Cincinnati can be proud of.

DFA Values:

When I have directed multi-million dollar public health projects, I have always been able to finish them on time and on budget. I belive that our national debt is a threat to our economy and a despicable tax on our children. I will demand a fair and progressive taxation policy when I arrive in Congress.

I believe in equal rights regardless of sex or sexual orientation and believe that women need to make decisions about abortion with their doctor.
