Primary Election Date: 06/06/2006
General Election Date: 11/07/2006
Who Am I?
I am a Veteran of the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) from 1974 to 1977. As a political newcomer in 2002 I was the Democratic nominee for the office of Public Service Commissioner. I challenged party switcher George Wallace, Jr. and earned 40% of the votes against a well funded and very well known opponent.
Why Am I Running?
I am running to bring common sense and real Alabama family values into the political process. I hope to help Congress reassert its Constitutional role as an independent branch of government. Congress has failed to hold the President accountable and our brave military personnel are paying the price.
Hold Me Accountable!
Education, health care reform, real national security
My DFA values:
I believe that every person has a God given right to a fair shot at reaching their potential. I believe that deficit spending except in the case of a national emergency is irresponsible and will ultimately become a burden on the middle class.
My Campaign is People-Powered!
Grassroots will be the most critical component. This campaign will be reliant on the "buzz" that can be created as the election progresses.

I think Greg represents the ideals of Howard Dean's 50-state strategy. He deserves the support.
