Aubrey Givens for Tennessee Senate 17th District

Background:

I am committed to the core values and beliefs of the working people of Middle Tennessee. I am a Christian, a farmer, a small businessman, and a lawyer. I believe each of these qualifications entitles me to work hard for those who come after me.

Goals:

As an attorney, I have focused on the needs of the people--working families, the middle class, the elderly, our state's children, and the poor. As a senator, I will do the same by serving the people, not the special interests and corporate lobbyists. Our people deserve clean government, fiscal responsibility, and educational opportunities for all.

At this point, our campaign is 110% grassroots. From canvassing and phonebanking to neighbors telling neighbors, we are pursuing every grassroots angle we can think of!

I believe that a well-run government should have nothing to hide. We should spend tax money as judiciously as we spend our own funds and we should allow the same moral compass that rules us privately to control acts as a public official, as well.
