MarCine Miles for County Clerk

Background:

I have been an active member of the community in Clark County for over 28 years. I have been a family practice attorney with my husband for 25 years.

Goals:

I want to modernize the Clerk's office, improve customer service for citizens and protect personal information as we move to electronic filing.

Issues:

Spend tax payer money responsibly

Grassroots Support:

I am doing extensive networking through local organizations. My campaign will depend on community activists talking to people they know. I will be launching a program that empowers individual volunteers to build supporter lists.

DFA Values:

I am promising to take personal responsibility for the way the Clerk's office spends money. It is time that someone independent of the bureacracy took a look at expenditures.
I am a life long supporter of progressive organizations like League of Women Voters, the American Civil Liberties Union, organized labor and the NAACP.
