Goals:

Being actively involved in civic and political issues for many years in Miami-Dade County, particularly in State House District 108, I now feel that the time has come for me to offer myself as a Community Servant in the Public Arena. My hope is to bring Well-Being and Self Sufficiency, for the people we serve, to the forefront of issues. I believe there are solutions that will enhance our Youth Education without creating a burden for taxpayers. I believe Healthcare should be treated as a necessity, not a luxury. I believe Honest Working Citizens should be allowed to prosper. I believe we must protect our Environment and secure our infrastructure for generations to come.

Issues:

• Fight for more funding and equity in education, especially as it pertains to science and technology;
• Fight for living Wages and Workforce Housing;
• Seek to make Healthcare more affordable;
• Fight for more Comprehensive Services to Senior Citizens;

Grassroots Support:

It is the most important component of my campaign. I believe that voters need to be engaged at the grasroots level.

DFA Values:

I believe that we must protect our right to choose in what ever domain necessary. We have a responsibility to the generations to work with balanced budgets while providing all the necessary services. All this can be achieved if we avoid giving away our financial resources by way of tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
