--B.A., Brooklyn College; Recent graduate, Seton Hall School of Law
--Professional stand-up comedian and humor educator
--Provide workshops on leadership and communication skills for NJ State League of Municipalities and associate groups for passed twelve years.
---Provide programs statewide on consumer fraud, identity theft, internet scams for NJ Division of Consumer Affairs for civic groups and community organizations

Why Am I Running?

The theme for my campaign for mayor is "Leadership That Listens"----I firmly believe that Flemington will be better served if we draw on the good ideas and talents of ALL our residents, not just a select few. It's time to bring openness, accountability and cost-effectiveness to Flemington Borough government.

The plan that I have to get the job done:

--Break through the closed shop of government appointments by providing a directory of available positions on borough boards and commissions and an open application process.

--Provide pinpoint disclosure of developer political contributions by requiring them to be listed on any application for a zoning variance.

--Institute zero-based budgeting and public budget hearings government department by department in order to promote cost-effectiveness.

--Provide weekly office hours so that any citizen, with an idea to improve Flemington or a problem with existing services, can speak in person with the Mayor and Council members.

---Economic development with the Main Street NJ program.

---Follow the concepts of the Center for Civic Responsibility for empowering citizens to hold local governing officials accountable for their decisions

--Secure live cable television coverage of all Council meetings.

We have already been going door-to-door for our campaign, along with the Linda Stender campaign. We are now going door to door registering voters in our constituency----tenants, seniors,union members. Our website will be up and running shortly, and we be having weekly 'house parties' and 'coffee gatherings' organized in smaller groups.
