Victory '08,

Richard Renner
MMDfA Endorsed Democratic Candidate for Missaukee County Commission

I have been a progressive, pro-labor, Democratic activist for over 20 years, serving in virtually every position, from Campaign Manager to regular volunteer, plus numerous party leadership positions.  I have decided to put my activism to good use, by running for Missaukee County Commission.

I am running because I believe in fiscal responsibility, government accountability, and I want to restore integrity to the office of County Commissioner for my district.

I care about my community.  I am a member of Lake City United Methodist Church, where I serve as Chairman of the Social Concerns Committee, which works on human rights issues, and I am a member of the Church Council.  I am a volunteer for the Beacon Project, helping elementary school children learn.

I have public service experience.  I served two years as an aide to Democratic Congressman Bart Stupak, helping our Veterans deal with the V.A., and representing the Congressman at numerous meetings and events.

My race will be competitive, but I believe I have the advantage.  I have managed six campaigns for public office, winning five, defeating incumbents each time.  Plus, my opponent, the Republican incumbent, has significant personal and political baggage.

Sincerely,

Richard Renner

Help make History by Electing a Progressive, pro-Labor Democrat to the

all-Republican Missaukee County Board of Commissioners!
