Background:

The better part of my life has been spent speaking out for equality and social justice.

Goals:

I truly believe that Alabama is ready for positive change, and I am the clear choice to help bring that about. Every day will be spent working in the best interest of my District and my country.

Issues:

1. End the war

2. Universal health care/reproductive justice

3. jobs/living wages

Grassroots Support:

My campaign is dependent upon grassroots organizing. It is one of volunteers, and I am spending time in each of the 16 counties that make up District 2 before the June primary talking to folks about their concerns.

DFA Values:

I have had leadership roles in the National Organization for Women and spoken out against inequality, racism, and homophobia. I have served on Boards and helped plan fundraisers and budgets.
