Background:

Born and raised in Pacific Northwest to a father who works at Public Hospital, and League of Women Voters mother. I am a microbiologist, trained in advanced molecular biology techniques including gene insertion. I am an anti-war activist who became politically active in October 2004,

Goals:

I am running for office to end the disastrous war in Iraq. Congress has the constitutionally-mandated power of the purse (Art 1, Sec 8) to end the funding for this conflict.
I will fight to bring all troops home, and redirect the purpose of American government from imperialism abroad (which brings fascism at home) to moral leadership in social and economic justice.
