Peter Kenny for Councilman

Background:

My name is Peter Kenny I'm 19 Years old I have Autism and BIpolar disorder. I love politics I volunteer my time to the Middlesex County Democratic Campaign. I ran for school board of North Brunswick last year at the age of 18 and I got 487votes and I lost the election by 218 votes out of the 1650 votes cast. I also heald numnerous positions in politics I served as a Rep at Large at Linwood Middle School, I served as Class of 2007 Treasurer at NBTHS I served Class of 2007 Vice President at NBTHS, than I served as school Fundraising Coordinator at Woodcliff Academy Than I served as A member of the North Brunswick TWP Youth Council than as it's Vice President. I currently Serve as a member of the towns Abilities Council and I serve as a member of the towns Enviromental Commission. I have a very loving and supportive family.

Goals:

I'm running for Councilman to lower the crime rate to put more cops on the streets to extend the North Brunswick police force. I'm going to lower taxes to create more jobs create more affordable housing to create more programs for the seniors, less privaledged, the disabled. To improve transportation. To create more programs for everyone.

Grassroots Support:

Grassroots will play a role in many different ways example by helping me get the word out to helping raise money to help me pass out flyers making phone calls going door to door hosting an event or fundraiser putting up campaign signs ect however i only have 2 people on my campaign staff and i really need the help.
