Who Am I?

I am Chairperson of the Lunenburg School Committee and am entering my 6th year in office. I have also served as Chairperson of the Lunenburg DTC and worked to organize campaigns in the area.

Why Am I Running?

I will work to improve public education, expand availability of healthcare in the state and work to protect our environment.

As a local elected official, I understand what the towns in my district need to succeed. I also understand public education; the funding, the difficulties and the future of education.

The list of endorsements I have already received underlines my progressive values. I believe in giving people the tools they need for success, such as excellent public education, high quality healthcare and a healthy and sustainable environment. I believe the future of our country should be to adopt a single-payer healthcare system, because access to healthcare should not be based on one's ability to pay, but as a basic right.
I have shown fiscal responsibility on the school committee by changing the process we use to develop our budget, making it more transparent for the public. We have increased test scores and expectations while keeping costs low. I have actively worked to increase communication with other town boards to help us develop budget plans together without acrimony and division.
