Who Am I?

President & Founder of an environmental consulting firm for over 21 years. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Widener University School of Law. Member of the Dept. of Environmental Protection Citizens Advisory Council, appointed by Gov. Rendell. Small Businesswoman of the Year Greater Chester Valley Chamber of Commerce; 2009 Minority Supplier of the Year; JCPenney Grand Award Winner Supplier of the Year. Former Member Immaculate University and active member of her church. She is married and the mother of three, volunteer at Cheyney University.

Why Am I Running?

I am running for office because as small business owner and job creator I believe I can improve current policies, and know those that imped business growth. I want to help get our economy robust and I believe I have the experience and skills necessary. Education is also a key priority, we need programs that direct our children into areas where they are gifted and where they can be successful. In addition to early childhood education, and increasing math and science programs we need to ensure those who are more interested and gifted for trades and technology have a venue to lead them successfully toward that path.

Hold Me Accountable!

1. Economy, our district has lost stores in the area mall, and in the strip shopping centers. Proposed centers are stalled and people have experienced layoffs. I relationships through business where I believe I can pull business and community leaders together to put the best ideas, skills and plans for a thriving community.
2. Infrastructure, we are suburban area but our area needs improved roads and sewer systems. The area is ripe for new energy saving technologies.
3. Taxes, our property taxes continue to rise and we need to look at ways maintain and protect our communities. I believe that our towns are geographically close that share services and staff is one idea to reduce expenses.

My DFA values:

My campaign is focused on education, government and business partnerships. These are key to stimulating our economy. Democrats need to show that we know business just as well as we know social issues. We need to effectively communicate these in balance.

My Campaign is People-Powered!

I am working with business groups, churches and community based organizations to get the word out about my race for State Rep.
I am having home events, and an event at a small business to showcase small businesses. I have had a team of volunteers knocking on doors every weekend since June.

Election for this campaign has passed.
