Stay within DFA's TOS

Our general Terms of Service for the website can be found here. All comments must also follow these terms.

Stay on topic

Please make sure your comments are on the topic of the original post. Open Threads are the exception to this rule.

Be nice

Think about others. People often say things on boards that they would be ashamed to say to someone face to face. Please treat other users with respect.

If we feel that comments are abusive, threatening, objectionable, obscene, defamatory or racist, they will be removed. There is no need to be offensive – and not much point in writing posts that end up being removed. Any posts that are in breach of our guidelines are liable to be removed. People who repeatedly break the rules may be banned from the site.

Copyright

Your opinions are very welcome – but content that isn't your copyright is not, so please don't use other people's content to make your point.

1500 Character limit

Should your comment need to be over a 1500 characters, we suggest turning it into a blog post itself. Note the 1500 character limit includes all text and whitespace, but does not include any html markup.

Editing Comments

Comments can be edited by the person who created the comment for up to 15 minutes after the comment was posted. The "edit" link is located to the left of the "reply" link under the main content of the post.

Technical Issues

Please report any and all technical issues directly to our Technology Director via the Contact Us form. We also welcome suggestions and constructive criticism on how to make the comments, the blog and the entire website easier to use and navigate.
