The Blue Basin Project is an initiative by the Loop Supporters of Democracy for America

working with other DFA, Democratic and progressive groups to make the Midwest a solidly

Democratic stronghold for candidates at all levels of the ballot. Recently, we canvassed

for Christine Cegelis, Judith Rae Ross and Dan Seals.

THIS AUGUST, we will be canvassing for Joe Vosicky (www.joevosicky,com) a solid candidate

who upholds the values that will continue to build Democratic momentum in suburban

Chicagoland. You can help us make that happen.

Sign up to get the word out about Joe. Please do so as soon as you can so we can provide you

with up-to-date information on the area you will be covering. We'd like you to commit to

both weekends in August if you can (August 19 and 26).

If you have never canvassed before, be assured that you will be well-trained.

Training will begin 10:00 each Saturday in Joe's district (the western suburbs in the

vicinity of Elmhurst, Bensenville; exact location will be announced soon)

Canvassing will start at 11:00 A.M.and usually last for 2-2 1/2 hours

Afterwards we can debrief on our experiences (that's the best part) and grab some food

together (that's pretty good, too) and then head back to the city.

(Rides from local Metra stations can be arranged or if people are coming from the city we

may car pool out to the district.)
