7:00 Program

East Bay for Democracy's September meeting is all about the November 7th General Election. We've already endorsed McNerney, Angelides, Bowen and Swanson, but there are lots of other races, and as usual a slew of propositions.

We endorsed Assemblywoman Loni Hancock's Clean Money Bill which unfortunately met with too much resistance in the State Senate. Now we need to check out Proposition 89, the Clean Money Initiative put on the ballot by the California Nurses Association. Loni endorses it, let's take our stand.

We'll have candidates from several local races, go over the ballot propositions, then Club members will have the opportunity to make motions and vote on further endorsements. All are welcome to attend. Here's our our line-up so far:
