RAY McGOVERN served as a CIA Analyst for 27 years. His duties included chairing the National Intelligence Estimates and conducting early morning daily briefings one-on-one with Vice President George Bush and other senior administration officials. Ray is on the Steering Group of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS). He recently attracted widespread attention when he publicly confronted Donald Rumsfeld about the Secretary’s claims concerning weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
