Previously (and soon to be again?) adopted candidate Dan Seals is running in IL-10 against Mark Kirk after his impressive showing in 2006.
Let's help him get on the ballot. Here's the info from the Seals campaign:

On Sunday, August 26th at 1:30 p.m. we are hosting our official petition drive kick-off at the Brushwood Home at Ryerson Woods, 21850 N. Riverwoods Road, in Riverwoods. The entrance is on Riverwoods Road, one and one-half miles south of Half Day Road (Route 22) and two miles north of Deerfield Road, just west of the I-94 Tollway. We will hold the event inside if it rains. http://www.ryersonwoods.org/

This is a great opportunity for you to bring your friends and neighbors who have not had a chance to meet Dan or to hear him speak. The event is free and light refreshments will be served. We need approximately 7 people to help that day starting at 11:30 a.m. If you are interested in helping to set-up that day or in general with this event, please let me know.

We'll meet at 12:30PM in the parking lot across from the Jewel just north of Berwyn (5300 N) on the West side of Broadway and carpool from there. If driving please indicate how many people you can take. This is our best Congressional pickup opportunity in Illinois this cycle. Let's be a big part of helping Seals win!
