It's been 5 years since this war was started. We knew it was wrong, but somehow that wasn't enough. Let's come together wearing white (wearing white will send a message of peace and hope).

If you've not participated before in an end-the-war rally, why not? Too often we are told that efforts like these are inconsequential. I urge you not to listen to voices of disempowerment. Nobody can predict the results of our effort.

Openly political messages about this war are welcome too. Bring signs, bring friends, and bring your desire to stand in community to end this war.

We'll also have a military boot exhibit, representing some of the more than 400 soldiers from California who have died in this illegal war of occupation in Iraq.

Candles and lighters are needed. If you have extra, please bring some for others to use. Bring your cameras too.

If there are some who have contacts in the media, please reach out to them. We need to generate some publicity to magnify the impact of this rally.
