NDFA June Meeting "How I Beat the Machine"

Agenda:

Everyone is welcome to join us at 6:00 p.m. for dinner ($10 chinese buffet) and socializing. The meeting itself starts at 7:00 p.m. We meet the first Thursday of every month.

Can you beat the Chicago machine? Yes, because our two guest speakers have done it! Come to this meeting and find out how they did it and what they learned and what it means for the future.

Speakers:
- Alderman Scott Waguespruck defeated machine alderman Ted Matlack in 2007
- Committeeman Michele Smith narrowly lost her aldermanic race against Vi Daley to but then went on to win in February for 43rd Ward Democratic Committeeman.
