Scott Harper, the Democratic nominee for Congress from the 13th District of Illinois, will be our speaker at a special Oak Park DFA meeting on June 17th at the Buzz!
This is the District that includes Naperville; it's demographics have shifted greatly in recent years. Come hear his message and learn how you can help turn another Illinois district blue! We will also have an activity at the event where, if you like what you hear, you can start helping Scott right there at the meeting - just like the good old days!
To his credit, Scott's campaign put over 70 volunteers on the ground in Indiana for Barack Obama last week - even though he's in the middle of a campaign himself! Clearly this is a team player - our team!
We will not have our regular first Wednesday meeting in June. Come on out!
