Basking Ridge Charter Day

Basking Ridge Charter day is May 17th, 11am to 5pm. The Bernards Twp Democrats will have a booth. Congressional candidate Tom Wyka will drop by, as well as our County freeholder candidates Doug Singleterry and Cecilia Birge to come. There is no fixed time when they will show up, but we told them the booth will start getting the most traffic around 1pm, so maybe that would be a good time to be there.

We will be doing voter registration and asking for volunteers for the fall. I'm trying to find out a way to give out a Tshirt for a random volunteer, but the township doesn't allow raffles, or the appearance of raffles!

I will have some Obama brochures from Keith to handout. And I have some buttons. If anyone can bring other gear that they're willing to part with, maybe that will entice additional volunteers.
