In 2004 George Bush won Iowa by 3 votes per precinct. Let's not let that happen again!
We will be traveling to Iowa to knock on doors for Senator Barack Obama. This is part of the larger "Illinois to Iowa" effort that has targeted Iowa as a key state.
We will be going to Iowa City and because there is a big football game that day they have requested that we go a little later than usual. So, we will meet at 8:00 a.m. and will plan to be home by 10:00 p.m. It will be a long day but worth it when Barack wins!
Also, we are planning to carpool -- there will be busses going but they may be going elsewhere. We are needed in Iowa City! We will plan to meet at the Pier 1 Parking Lot at 5304 N. Broadway at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27. We will receive training once we are there so no experience is necessary!
