Dan Kotowski spoke at our September Meeting and we endorsed him in October. Dan Seals is one of our two "adopted" candidates this cycle, and the Seals campaign was the featured speaker at our August Meetup. Please show your support by coming out for our Kotowski and Seals canvas on Saturday October 11. We'll carpool from the regular "Pier 1" location at noon and head to the Wheeling Township Dems office, 1310 W. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights (for those wishing to drive straight there -- please indicate this on your RSVP), which is in the area of the 10th Congressional district that overlaps with Kotowski's 33rd State Senate district and begin our canvass at 1PM.
For those who don't know about Kotowski, he was one of our endorsed candidates in 2006 when he went on to win a close election to become the first Democrat to represent the 33rd State Senate district since 1860! Now we want to help him win his first re-election battle and keep the district "blue."
Like the canvass in Glenview on Oct. 4 (Seals and Biss), this is a chance to help two great candidates we support, so I hope you will join us.
