Canvass for Dan Seals (and Daniel Biss)

Dan Seals is one of our two "adopted" candidates this cycle, and the Seals campaign was the featured speaker at our August Meetup. We will have canvasses for Seals -- in an area of the 10th Congressional district that overlaps with Daniel Biss's 17th State Legislative district -- Saturday and Sunday of election weekend, and we will help the Seals (and Biss) campaign Get Out the Vote in this area on election day.

Please help these great candidates by coming out on Sunday November 2. We'll carpool from the regular "Pier 1" location at 1PM and head to the Northfield Democrats' office at 1926 Waukegan Road in Glenview. The canvass begins at 2PM (for those preferring to go straight to Glenview).

This race -- progressive, NDFA adopted Democrat Dan Seals vs. Republican pretend moderate Mark Kirk -- is going to be close and it's one in which our efforts can really make a difference.

The Glenview area of the district (IL-10) is also in the State Rep. district in which Daniel Biss is running, and they have Biss literature in the Northfield office, so you get a chance to help BOTH our adopted candidates when you canvass for Seals. This is especially important for Daniel Biss because this is an area to which his campaign has devoted relatively little resources (compared with other areas of the district), so we can help bring out votes his campaign might not otherwise get.
