Election Day GOTV for Dan Seals (and Daniel Biss)

Dan Seals is one of our two "adopted" candidates this cycle, and the Seals campaign was the featured speaker at our August Meetup. We will have canvasses for Seals -- in an area of the 10th Congressional district that overlaps with Daniel Biss's 17th State Legislative district -- Saturday and Sunday of election weekend, and we will help the Seals (and Biss) campaign Get Out the Vote in this area on election day.

Please help these great candidates by coming out on Election Day, November 4, and helping with the crucial Get Out the Vote effort. We'll carpool from the regular "Pier 1" location and head to the Northfield Democrats' office at 1926 Waukegan Road in Glenview.

I have divided the work in Glenview into 2 shifts: 10AM to 3PM and 3PM to 7PM (a little later for those closing polling places). We will have carpools leaving an hour before each shift, so please sign up for one or both shifts and indicate whether you plan to carpool at 9AM or 2PM (or are going straight to the office yourself) and whether you will be a driver or need a ride.

This race -- progressive, NDFA adopted Democrat Dan Seals vs. Republican pretend moderate Mark Kirk -- is going to be close and it's one in which our efforts can really make a difference.

The Glenview area of the district (IL-10) is also in the State Rep. district in which Daniel Biss is running, and they have Biss literature in the Northfield office, so you get a chance to help BOTH our adopted candidates when you GOTV for Seals. This is especially important for Daniel Biss because this is an area to which his campaign has devoted relatively little resources (compared with other areas of the district), so we can help bring out votes his campaign might not otherwise get.
