School Board Candidate Training

The Oklahoma State School Boards Association will host a candidate workshop for people who are interested in running for their local school boards.The workshop is a free, one-hour session designed to give the public a better understanding of school board service and eligibility requirements.

The workshop is from 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3, 2009 at Tulsa Technology Center's Riverside Campus, 801 E. 91st St.

The filing period for candidates for school board positions in Tulsa County is Dec. 7-9.
