INVITATION - Meet to Defeat the Republicans

Let's take back our state and nation! President Obama said in the State of the Union
Address that he cannot do it alone...

The Republicans are working together as the Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance (OCA) consisting of 32 right-wing organizations. They are now in the process of promoting HJR 1054 - OK Healthcare Freedom of Choice - an amendment to the state constitution which proposes to keep Oklahoma out of a national health care program. There are other conservative proposals on their agenda they are also seeking to have legislated. Of course, the tea partiers are in full force with their rallies in O.C. and D.C.

The idea behind Oklahoma Progressive Coalition is to unify progressive organizations under the umbrella of one powerful group to support the Democrat Party, its candidates, and progressive issues.

The meeting will be at Panera in the Meeting Room at the back of the restaurant which is located at the northwest corner of 71st Street & Garnett. There is a fee of $25 per hour for the required purchase of food items. So, you are welcome to eat a snack or lunch during our scheduled time which will count towards the fee.
