DemocracyFest is a 3-day conference and training experience for progressive activists, held on the campus at SDSU, and will include appearances by notable authors, journalists, political officeholders and entertainers. Howard Dean will headline the Saturday Night Beach Party Blowout, with musical headliner the Gary Hoey Band. Also on hand over the weekend will be people like State Senator Debra Bowen, Assemblymember Lori Saldana, Col. Ann Wright, David Swanson, Congressman Bob Filner and many more.
