About This Event:
December 10 is a national day of action to tell our members of Congress to stand strong for the 99% in the "fiscal showdown". Democracy for America will stand with unions and our civic action and community partners for a rally at the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza starting at 4:00 PM. We will have speakers at 5:00 followed by a candlelight vigil.
The demand is simple--Protect Our Future:
No tax cuts for the richest 2%; and
No benefit cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Please join us on December 10 and have our voices heard.
