I am working on a grassroots environmental campaign in DuPage County.   The fundamental purpose is to raise awareness to the importance of global warming, and its' local impacts on northern Illinois.   It is called Project Hot Seat, and it is a national campaign that will focus solely on U.S. representatives.  The idea is simple.  It is to build and organize a grassroots organization in Illinois, congressional district 6.

This fall, our representatives will have the opportunity to support some critical legislation pertaining to global warming with reasonable solutions to stop it.  This is where Project Hot Seat comes into play.  It is time for the voters in district 6 to let Representative Peter Roskam know that global warming and its' local impacts are important issues, and that it is time for Rep. Roskam to be a leader on environmental issues in the House.  We are reaching out to the communities in DuPage County, and building a volunteer-based organization that will remind Rep. Roskam what issues are important to his constituents.

Take care,
