Global Warming Rally

Date: This Friday, October 5th.
Time: 8:30 AM
Location: Old Town Park in Bloomingdale (near the intersection of Lake St. and Bloomingdale Rd.)
Action: Marching to Rep. Peter Roskam at 9:00 AM
Goal: To send a strong message to Rep. Roskam to take action on global warming now!


We need you there!  Spread the word.  Get the word out.  We need to exhibit our solidarity and our strength to Rep. Peter Roskam.  It is your community.  It is your representative.  It is your future.  Act now!  And write a letter for Rep. Roskam.  Demand that he take action on global warming now.  Bring the letter with you.  We will be handing over letters to Rep. Roskam asking him to be a true environmental champion in Congress.  Let's make Illinois district 6 a leader on global warming.

Let's turn up the heat on Peter Roskam this fall.  We need to demand real leadership on the environment and on global warming now!  Rep. Roskam has repeatedly failed to represent the concerns of his constituents.  It is time for us to remind him.  If not now, then when?

*H.R.3221*: * Moving the United States toward greater energy independence and security, developing innovative new technologies, reducing carbon emissions, creating green jobs, protecting consumers, increasing clean renewable energy production, and modernizing our energy infrastructure, and to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide tax incentives for the production of renewable energy and energy conservation.
