Democracy For Vermont is proud to endorse Joanna Cole for the Vermont State House, Chittenden 3-1. Joanna is a long-time DFA and DFV member, and has also been endorsed by Burlington DFA.

Joanna believes in healthcare for all, that efficiency is key to solving our energy crisis, and that we should fund our schools in a fairer way with a graduated income tax.

If you live in Chittenden 3-1, please vote for Joanna in the Primary this Tuesday. More information about Joanna can be found on her website at http://www.joannacole.org. Contributions to Joanna’s campaign can be sent to Joanna Cole for State House, c/o Leo Fleury, Treasurer, 108 Rivers Edge Drive, Burlington, VT 05408.

How many votes made DFV's decision ? Democracy is a great word.

- Not Exactly Sure...

Joanna was endorsed by Burlington DFA first, and I'm really not sure how how many people attended that meeting to endorse her. I do know that it was unanimous. If someone here attended that meeting and can answer the question about how many people voted, that would be great.

At the state level, there are 6 DFV Steering Committee members that vote on endorsements. 1 was on vaction, so it was 5 that voted yes at that level.

Joanna won 1 of the 2 nominations available (in a three way race) in yesterday's Dem Primary!
