We must be careful

What an election.  We did it but we must be careful.  We must be careful not to swing too far to the left.  This country is very centrist and that is where we must stay to make the changes this country needs.  But we must stay as close to the center as possible.  Once at the center fence we can move away from it very slowly.  Step by little step.  If we swing too far to fast we will be in power for 2 years only.  To make the sweep complete we must now concentrate on 08.  If we win the white house and keep our majority in both the house and Senate than the power swap will be complete.  To win the white house in 08 we can not send up a far left candidate.  We need a moderate to take on the pachyderms candidate which will be right leaning social conservative.  If we are too far left such a candidate will take us down.  That is why we need to be so careful not to appear to left in this right leaning country.
