But the biggest part of it, as always, was the "people power" we have -- people like you!  As CCMC Executive Director Julie Rajan and I worked the Capitol for the last four days, everybody was talking about the nearly 80 -- eighty! -- people who came to the hearing on Monday.  Appropriations Chairman Tom Torlakson said that we "definitely won the prize" for the most supporters for any bill this year, and that there were so many people that "it looked like people were circling out one door and coming in another to testify again". And they couldn't stop but noting that people came from all around the state, not only from all parts of the Bay Area but all the way up from Los Angeles and Orange County.  Californians owe a huge thank you to all of you who took your time to come out to the Capitol in Sacramento! ...  Trent Lange, President of Board of Directors California Clean Money Campaign
