Had Enough of the Riverside Press-Enterprise?

Many within the community have for years become increasingly disgruntled with the Press-Enterprise, the paper of record in Riverside. As direction on the paper's contents and coverage moved to owner Belo Corporate headquarters in Texas, in depth reporting on issues of local interest waned. With every wave of layoffs, the most recent just a few weeks ago, institutional knowledge and journalistic skill has been lost. Many have expressed disgust with what they see as an increasing right-wing bias at the Press-Enterprise, including publication of extremist right-wing columnists, and blanket endorsements of Republicans with apparent disregard for ethical lapses or indiscretions, and with disregard for the changing demographic makeup of this community. Many have cancelled their subscriptions as a result. What do you think? Are you happy with the coverage of the Press-Enterprise?
