DC for Democracy is the District's largest unaligned progressive group of activists, community leaders and everyday voters working for positive change in our local government and recognition in America's legislature.

- increase civic participation in government
- fight for progressive causes locally and nationally, including health care reform, affordable housing, public safety, and a sustainable economy
- support full citizenship for DC through statehood
