I managed to visit some of the alternative energy events that took place in Iowa in September and will attempt to report on them separately.

One of these events was the University of Iowa Energy Expo which was held on campus on September 5. Jounalist Adam Burke of the Iowa Independent captured concise videos of the main speakers, Billy Parish and Hunter Lovins, so I'll refer you to Adam's article:
