Hey Ya'll!

Hi everyone!!  I'm Mimi, and I'd like to get re-activated in the Roanoke political scene.  Elaine, I'm sorry I dropped off the planet!!  Graduation from Hollins seems like only yesterday... though it's been 2 years.  Good lord!

Anyway- I have two jobs (I guess a job and a half) so I'm quite the busy young lady, but I'd love to be a part of a successful progressive democratic campaign for president.  Losing is not an option!  And I'm determined to be part of the movement that restores people's faith in the benefits (not drawbacks) of a strong, caring government.  One that cares about our environment, the working class, and the individuals that they are "ruling".  Are we having regular meetings?  It used to be the first Thursday night at Raleigh Court Library... I don't know if that's still the case.
