This is an open group of voters who badly want a Progressive Congress to work for full employment, protect Social Security and Medicare, adequately fund education, and become energy independent by harnessing tide and solar power. Together we can help elect five Progressives to Congress from eight (8) East Central Florida Counties of Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia. They have a population of 3.4 million or enough for five (5) Congressional Districts. We can accomplish this by each one of us spending just ten hours between now and Election Day: November 6, 2012; asking our immediate neighbors to vote for our progressive candidate.

An analysis was made on who voted and how they voted and it works out that the over-riding factor to who was elected was the higher voter turnout of Republicans and lower turnout of Democrats and Independents.

Communities are divided into neighborhoods, each with 150 registered voters. Each neighborhood Team Leader, with a friend, will contact 55 households ask their occupants to vote. By getting 5 more Democrats to vote; 6 more Independents and 4 new voters from every neighborhood of 150 voters; we will elect our candidate with 52% instead of losing with 44% of the vote.

These counties have slightly more Dems (39%) to Reps (37%), but all are held by Grover Nordquist Republicans due to lower Democratic and Independent voter turnout. Districts FL-08 and FL-24 elected Democrats in 2008 but lost these seats in 2010. Together we can win back these two plus three additional Districts.

This group will work closely with Congressional candidates, the county Democratic Executive Committees and the Organization for America to work Get Out The Vote. Our action will go a long way in reaching this goal.
