Clean Elections is creating quite a stir in Washington!  A couple of weeks ago we asked you to thank Governor Christine Gregoire (D) for her proposal to create a public financing program for judicial elections and today we’d like to invite you to attend one of the forums being held this week to find out more about the fight to win judicial public financing for the Evergreen State!

Forums will be held at the following locations:
Seattle, Town Hall, January 5th 7:30PM. Click here to RSVP.
Everett, PUD Auditorium, January 4th 7PM. Click here to RSVP.
Olympia, The Olympia Center, January 6th, 3PM. Click here to RSVP.
Tacoma, Tacoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation, January 6th, 11AM. Click here to RSVP.

I hope you’ll be able to attend!

These forums are hosted by Washington Public Campaigns, our partner organization working towards winning Clean Elections in the state. Please see further event details below.

It promises to be an exciting year for the state. Governor Gregoire and the folks at Washington Public Campaigns will be working hard toward a future in which elections are fair, elected officials accountable, and people’s voices matter more than special interest money.

Get the scoop on what 2007 will look like, and meet your fellow activists at one of these events! I’ll be in attendance and it would be great to see you there. RSVP today!

Thanks so much for being part of the movement to win Clean Elections.

Best,
Tory Griffith
Western States Director
