Hello! My name is Paul;
I am a senior at the John H. Johnson School of Communication here at Howard University and a member of Lamda Pi Eta. I also work with Democracy for America, the political action committee Howard Dean formed after his presidential run. I am looking for articulate and ambitious people to start a Democracy for America independent group (generation DFA) here at Howard.

The group's goals include, but are not limited to; Supporting socially progressive and fiscally responsible candidates, discussing democratic moral values, and, my favorite- helping to recruit young people to run for office especially here at Howard University. It is so much easier than it is made out to be to run for any office in any discipline- anywhere; from Council-Member to Mayor in your city. And no! you don't have to be a political science major to run…away with the myth! This organization will be behind you until you achieve your desired goal. Remember! no woman/man is an Island!

It's a new day! We are holding hands this time. All the way to "graduation into a Job'! You can make a difference…but, together! For together, we stand; divided, we fall. This organization is going to support you every step of the way; whether your aspirations are political, social, economical, technological or cultural. Ok, so you just want to get a good job. Fine! We will help you get there too. This group will also serve in local communities to bridge the gap between community service and political involvement. Would you be interested in joining the group?
