Description:
Monmouth DFA, is a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting a progressive agenda, and helping elect progressive candidates on the local, county, state, and federal level. TAKING BACK OUR COUNTRY ONE NEIGHBOR AT A TIME!
In 2007 Monmouth DFA became a member of the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA). By joining another progressive organization we are pooling members and sharing ideas and agenda.
Monmouth DFA/PDA has taken the challenge and put forth it's first member candidate in 2007 and again in 2008! Ed Zipprich and Juanita Lewis both won election on November 4th 2008 on the same ballot as Barack Obama and Joe Biden!
Our group has worked on educating the public on: Election Reform, Effects of Tax Cuts, the Environment, The PATRIOT Act and more!
We are currently working with other progressive organizations like Organizing for America and local Democratic Clubs to build a stronger party. By working together we amplify our progressive message to our party leaders and elected officials.
Monmouth For Democracy/PDA is committed to helping with various community and charitable causes. We also host film nights. We'd love to have you help us take our country back!
