Meet DFA Chairman Jim Dean in Ambler

We will have a special guest joining MontcoDFA at The Shanachie Pub and Restaurant next Sunday, August 19. None other than the Chair of Democracy for America, Mr. Jim Dean.

If you had any lingering doubts about the importance of the Montgomery County Commissioners race, I hope they are dispelled by the fact that Jim is taking a special interest in it. DFA gets thousands of requests for assistance from campaigns all over the country. To be singled out for a visit from the Chairman signals how much this race matters in building a strong regional organization for next year's critical elections.

Jim is also very excited about the prospect of ending over a century of Republican control of Montgomery County and Ruth and Joe's promise to bring real accountability to county government.
